Copyright and DMCA Policy
Effective: July 9, 2026
Our Commitment
QUIZFORGE respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the platform to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. Section 512. If you believe content on quizforge.ai infringes a copyright you own or control, you can report it using the process below, and we will review and act on valid notices promptly.
How to File a Copyright Infringement Notice
To be effective under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3)), your written notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list of those works).
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it — for QUIZFORGE, the URL of the exam or question page is the most helpful.
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
Designated Copyright Agent
Send DMCA notices to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent, QUIZFORGE
Email: [email protected] (subject line: "DMCA Notice")
Counter-Notification
If material you posted was removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our designated agent a written counter-notification. Under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3), it must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which QUIZFORGE may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
After we receive a valid counter-notification, we forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. Section 512(i), QUIZFORGE will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
Trademark and Other Complaints
Complaints about trademark misuse or other intellectual property concerns can be sent to the same contact: [email protected]. Please describe the right at issue, the material you are complaining about (with URLs), and your contact information so we can investigate.
