Descripción y detalles del examen

El NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses) es el examen nacional estandarizado requerido para obtener una licencia de enfermera registrada en los Estados Unidos y Canadá. Administrado por el National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), el examen utiliza computerized adaptive testing (CAT) para evaluar la capacidad del candidato de proporcionar cuidados de enfermería seguros y efectivos, probando el juicio clínico en cuatro categorías principales: Safe and Effective Care Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Psychosocial Integrity y Physiological Integrity, con Physiological Integrity recibiendo el mayor énfasis.
