CELPE-Bras Avançado Practice Test

The Intermediário exam (B1/B2) certifies functional independence for everyday and routine work tasks. The Avançado (C1/C2) certifies full professional/academic proficiency, requiring the ability to handle complex, unfamiliar topics, use language flexibly for persuasive and precise communication, and produce clear, well-structured texts on abstract subjects. The Avançado tasks are more intellectually demanding and the performance criteria for accuracy, coherence, and lexical range are significantly higher.
