Each level must be passed sequentially, and certification is only awarded upon successful completion of all three.

While certifications like CPIM (APICS) focus deeply on production and inventory management, and CPSM (ISM) on procurement, SCPro(TM) requires competency across eight integrated pillars: Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return, Enable, Integrate, and Innovate. It is generally considered a broader, more strategic credential for professionals managing or transforming entire networks, whereas others may be more specialized. Preparation time varies based on experience, but candidates should anticipate several months of dedicated study for each level. To maintain your SCPro(TM) certification, you must earn 60 professional development points (PDPs) over a three-year recertification cycle. PDPs can be accrued through a variety of activities that demonstrate continued professional growth, such as attending relevant conferences or webinars, completing continuing education courses, publishing supply chain-related articles, presenting at industry events, or engaging in other forms of professional service. This requirement ensures certified professionals remain current with evolving industry trends and best practices.
