The DELF B2 diploma is valid for life. Unlike some language test scores which expire after two years, this certification is a permanent attestation of your language proficiency at the B2 level as of the date you passed the exam. It never needs to be renewed.

The DELF is a diploma (you pass or fail a specific level), while the TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) is a standardized test that gives a score placement on the CEFR scale.
