ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) Practice Test

There are no formal prerequisites mandated by ISTQB. However, it is recommended that candidates have at least six months of practical experience in a software testing role to better contextualize the syllabus concepts. Accredited training courses are available but not mandatory; self-study using the official syllabus and materials is a common and valid preparation path.

The ISTQB CTFL certification is valid for life and does not require recertification. The foundational knowledge it represents is considered evergreen.
