ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Board Certification Practice Test

Eligibility is primarily granted through completion of a CAAHEP-accredited cytotechnology program. Alternative routes exist for those with specific combinations of education and experience, such as a bachelor's degree plus full-time cytotechnology experience. The exam is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the examination. Certification is often a requirement for employment in hospital and commercial laboratories. The ASCP CT exam uses a criterion-referenced passing point. You receive a scaled score, with 400 required to pass.
