CSCMP Supply Chain Management Professional (SCPro) Practice Test

While CSCMP does not mandate a specific number of years of experience as a formal prerequisite, the SCPro curriculum and exams are designed for practicing professionals. Level One (Cornerstones) is accessible to those with foundational knowledge, but Levels Two and Three require the ability to analyze complex scenarios and execute a business project, which typically necessitates 3-5+ years of relevant, progressive supply chain experience for success. Candidates are strongly advised to self-assess their readiness against the detailed competency blueprints.

SCPro is a sequential, three-tiered certification. Level One: Cornerstones assesses foundational knowledge across eight domains. Upon passing, you proceed to Level Two: Analysis & Application, which tests your ability to analyze integrated scenarios and make strategic recommendations. Level Three: The Business Project is the capstone, where you must identify a real opportunity within your organization (or a case study), develop a full project plan, execute it, and document the results and ROI for review by CSCMP assessors. This structure ensures the certification validates both knowledge and tangible, applied competency.

SCPro certification is valid for three years. To maintain your credential, you must earn 60 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) during that period. CEHs can be obtained through various professional development activities such as attending relevant conferences, completing university courses, publishing supply chain articles, participating in webinars, or engaging in other CSCMP-approved educational endeavors. This requirement ensures SCPro holders remain current with evolving industry practices, technologies, and challenges.

SCPro is highly regarded by employers due to its rigorous, multi-level structure and emphasis on practical application, especially the required Business Project.
