SSC Multi-Tasking Staff Practice Test

Upon selection, SSC MTS qualifiers are appointed to Group 'C' non-gazetted, non-technical posts across various Central Government ministries, departments, and offices. Typical roles include Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, and Mali, among others. Postings can be in diverse settings like administrative offices, hospitals, research institutions, and field establishments. The specific role and location are determined by the appointing authority based on vacancy and candidate preference/rank.

The exam is conducted in two sessions (Session I and Session II) on a single day. Both sessions are computer-based and objective in nature. Session-I tests General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness. Session-II is exclusively for English Language. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Session-I, while Session-II is qualifying in nature with no negative marking. Final merit is based on Session-I performance, provided the candidate qualifies in Session-II.
